This campaign was never going to be easy.
From the start, we knew it would take an unprecedented grassroots effort in order to win this nomination.
Not only are we taking on a political and corporate establishment that will do and spend whatever it takes to stop us, but we are running against a record number of candidates at the same time.
And today, there is one more candidate in the race.
That makes today a big day for our campaign and an important moment to show that we are the ones who can beat Trump and transform this country. So we are asking especially today:
Can you make a contribution to our campaign today? Well put it right to work on the fight to win this nomination, while sending a message that ours is the campaign that will beat Trump and transform our country.

Got Warrens
XXXX,
We only have five days left to hit our April fundraising goal and as of this morning, were tracking a little behind.
The stakes are high right now. Meeting our goal before this deadline will make sure were able to grow this movement, and increase the number of states were organizing in at the pace we need to win.
But even though the pressure is high, you wont see Elizabeth resort to hopping around big cities to host swanky fundraisers with wealthy donors.
You wont see Elizabeth take a dime from federally registered lobbyists, corporate PACs, or PACs of any kind. You wont see Elizabeth cozy up to billionaires and nudge them to dump buckets of cash into a Super PAC for her.
Instead, grassroots donors are the only people who fund our campaign. Nina, can you make a $3 contribution today? Every new contribution that comes in will help our campaign get back on track to hitting this important April fundraising goal.
Hitting this fundraising goal is just the first step of Elizabeths plan to put power in the hands of the people, where it belongs not in the clutches of the rich and powerful.
Elizabeth has a plan to make big, structural change the type of change that rips out the root causes of the deep problems in our economy, our government, and our democracy.
Because lets face it: There are systemic problems that led to someone like Donald Trump getting elected in the first place. Hes only the symptom, not the cause, of the crises we face.
To make real change, we need to build a massive grassroots movement, and we need bold ideas.
Thats what Elizabeth is focused on.
Instead of catering to wealthy and well-connected donors, shell spend the next few days at meet and greets and organizing events with people in Iowa and Nevada. And shell keep proposing substantive ideas that would level the playing field for working people.
Elizabeths time is not for sale, and shes running to be the best president that money cant buy. This movement is only possible because of support from people like you.

I'm no Bernie fan, but there's nothing wrong with making money through your work.
