When Al Franken stepped down and it was obvious that the governor would appoint a woman, some wanted her - barely few months in the State House with nothing to show - because she was (still is, of course) a "Muslim and a Somali-American." Oh, you forgot to add "woman" to your list of identities.

Some days I hope that we follow MLK wish, to elect our representatives based on "the content of their character."
