Hypothetical: If Biden dies of coronavirus, what should happen to the primary? [View all]

I know this is terrible. BUT Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders, and Joe Biden all have slightly increased risk of death of coronavirus due to age...and not to mention how Donald Trump is handling the pandemic. If Donald Trump dies, it's clear that Mike Pence becomes President and would move forward running. If Sanders dies, it's also very clear because Joe Biden is so far ahead in the primary, he's the obvious winner of the primary and that is that--Biden vs Trump in the General Election. But what about in the more strange case of Biden dying of coronavirus?

I imagine there is some kind of process, like the delegates at the convention would vote, but then right now all the delegates are not decided upon, because they haven't been elected yet.

What would happen?

Also...what ought to happen?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
