We Dems are still in a lingering state of shock over what happened in 2016 and have never fully recovered. Kinda like the Goppers were after 9/11 and stayed in a permanent state of stupid after that. But Dems are smarter than Pubbies are and won't make the same mistake again.

I am as optimistic as one can realistically be at this early stage with many more months left to go. And I'm a pessimistic person by nature.
