(58,785 posts)36. Extremely sleazy, unprincipled behavior, and I've
more than once wondered if there were limits to his ruthlessness, but he's so uber righteous I doubt he sees it at all that way. He's famous for accepting only in-line agreement from colleagues with whatever he says, and that massive, boorish contempt he displays toward almost everyone is real.
So, in a messed up world where everyone else is always wrong and usually corrupt and he, not at all secretly, believes "only he can fix it," to borrow a phrase, mightn't almost everything he's involved in really come down to him? Even confer a right to take over?
Whatever, the sooner he's retired back to a lone 1 in 100 in the senate the better.
