An argument for Klobuchar as Biden's running mate. [View all]

First off, Amy’s strong qualifications are a given, as is her very broad Midwestern appeal. But I am also coming around to thinking that people respond unconsciously to what they see, and that a candidate’s body language is very important. As such, I wonder to what I extent the unstable gestures and mannerisms of some of the candidates may have affected voters’ perception of them. Sanders and Warren both come to mind.

Klobuchar’s calm demeanor, her ability to project solidness and warmth as well as seriousness, would reinforce Biden’s steadiness. This, in my opinion, could help make for an unstoppable combination in these tumultuous times.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I was leaning towards Amy before she dropprd out. bluescribbler Mar 2020 #1
We do not need two moderates on the ticket, especially two white moderates. LonePirate Mar 2020 #2
That is not what he wants. squirecam Mar 2020 #4
Evidently what he wants and what the party needs are two different things. LonePirate Mar 2020 #6

Harris is an excellent choice who-- on a ticket with Joe-- would excite voters all over the country. pnwmom Mar 2020 #13
I disagree squirecam Mar 2020 #15

Wrong. People of color are the backbone of our party and need to see themselves pnwmom Mar 2020 #11

It is absurd to suggest that women love Biden more than AA voters. squirecam Mar 2020 #48
Moderate suburban women are the ones I'm referring to -- not all women. Most of the women pnwmom Mar 2020 #60
Why is choosing the best person not enough for you? squirecam Mar 2020 #61
Because I don't think being from Minnesota makes her the best person nt pnwmom Mar 2020 #62
That is one thing. squirecam Mar 2020 #63
It should be a woman of color and there are a number of them who are very qualified pnwmom Mar 2020 #64
