In 2008, there were two candidates in the Democratic primaries. (EDITED) [View all]

And each candidate went to the Convention. Neither dropped out prior to JUne of 2008 before the Convention.

In my view, the process should continue as it did in 2008.

Others might disagree.

Note also that HRC dropped out in June of 2008 after all of the primaries were tabulated.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
