(649 posts)I definitely hear you and have a sense of how youre feeling. Of course, its impossible for me to truly know your plight because Im not living it. But I know that many, if not most, of my generation let you down. And, by dismissing and dissing Bernie, are continuing to do so.
I can understand voters reluctance to vote for Sanders. I think that Biden has a better chance of beating Trump. But, Im not gonna run scared. Nor am I gonna think only of myself. If Warren withdraws, I will vote for Sanders in my primary. I dont think its a slam dunk that hell lose, I think he could win. I wouldnt vote for him if I felt he was certain to lose. But I think dramatic changes... real hope and real, fundamental change... are long overdue. For your generation, and mine as well.
Joe Biden might be the safer choice. But I believe he represents more of the same. I dont mean more of Trump. I mean more of the same ole thing, which will do nothing to alleviate you of your need to work three jobs just to have the basics in life while Mitt Romney installs a car elevator in one of his many mansions. Something is extremely askew when those circumstances are allowed to continue unchecked. And they will continue unchecked under a Biden administration.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
