(42,004 posts)I HATE this Boomers dont get it stuff. Were not fools. Weve been poor kids and many are poor elders who are working to help our families to afford things this ridiculous trend toward ogliarchy and authoritarianism is doing to us all. We are literally vulnerable when it comes to life and death as we need more medical care. We can go bankrupt from health care costs.
But Im telling you, Bernies policies are like leaping a too wide chasm rather than building a bridge. He cannot just will things into place. That establishment he rails againstall those boomers hes a part of whether he likes it or notholds power in the Senate and House and are the wells of experience to draw from as he would strive to fill positions. He has to work with them. Whos the down ticket hes fighting for? Whos the global community hes got trusting relationships with?
It does not happen by magic. I sympathize. I want a better world for all yall young people. But you do not have the experience, networks, credibility, resources, etc. to do these things without the help and nurturance of us clueless elder boomers. We can either work together or you can cast us aside and lose to the monsters who dont give a damn about you.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
