Why I voted Sanders [View all]

To any Boomers on this site, ya’ll don’t get me. Many of you are well off in the world and looking to retire or are retired. You have good lives and can sustain yourself. You don’t understand my struggle as 19 year old. I'm unlikely to afford college any time soon. I’m not going to be able to afford children. I’m likely to have to work 3 jobs in order to barely maintain an upper lower class life. (And that’s if I’m lucky) My life expectancy is shorter than yours is.

I understand you’ve had some tough times, maybe even working 2 jobs yourself. You got underpaid, there were less labor laws, ect... but that hasn’t stopped many of you from leading successful lives. A much higher percentage than my own generation will have.

Even if you can’t understand all of these plights... at least understand why I voted for Bernie in the TX primary.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
