18. Honey bees.

I am allergic to yellow jackets and hornets too. I was bitten by one as a fly-by. He didn't even land on me but took a chunk out as he swiped by me. My arm swelled up and I got Benadryl. This was at 6th grade school camp and as their teacher they forced me to go. A soccer ball it a nest as soon as we got there and they swarmed us. One kid got bit near his eye and had to go home. During 5 hour hikes the camp leaders hung baloney from tree branches when we stopped for lunch so the carnivorous hornets would go after that and not us.

The honey bees were very nice and stuck with their task. They were only there about a week the bee man said but they certainly were industrious, real dynamos. I know the planet needs them now more than ever and as long as I have some input, they would not be killed at my home! My dog played with one when she was young and it stung her knee. The vet found the stinger in about two seconds ($$).
