(508 posts)I've watched my son mature in the last 4 years. When Trump ran in the last election, my son wanted him to win. It was a shocker to me and my husband. He was around 14. Now that he is older, he has done a complete 360. He said he want Bernie Sanders to win. He said everyone deserves to have basic healthcare. He understands that the dems are not trying to take guns away, they want sensible gun control. These are our future leaders. They are much more emotionally involved in politics then we give them credit for. My son has been able to sift through the crap on the internet and see our current president in action. He also told me that he probably won't have children because it's not fair bringing a child into this current world where the adults deny global warming. 3 years ago he didn't believe global warming existed. The young people are endorsing Bernie. Please do not count them out. They are tomorrows leaders. Our current state of politics has not represented them well.
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
