Showing Original Post only (View all)Bloomberg Campaign Claims It Has 'Very Damaging' Info On Sanders [View all]
Heard about this on one of the network evening news shows (can't remember which one since I was channel surfing as usual), and just found a link to an article:

As the Democratic primary race continues to heat up, billionaire Michael Bloomberg and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., have not shied away from sharing barbs. With Bloomberg now polling third nationally, he is putting the front runner, Sanders, in his cross hairs.
Kevin Sheekey, the head of Bloombergs campaign, claimed Tuesday morning that opposition research conducted on Sanders had turned up very damaging, perhaps even disqualifying information, though he stopped short of sharing the findings.

If such information exists (and there's a lot we don't know about what Sanders has said during past campaigns, for instance), then it's best for the Democratic Party that it come out as soon as possible.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

OP
My fear is that is if Bloomberg plays this attack game, he will tear apart our party even more.

+1. Sanders has never been really vetted. Everyone has been walking on eggshells around him

Whatever Bloomberg's op team has it has nothing to do with Bernie's policies

How long would you expect him to put up with attacks from the other candidates before he hits back?

Wow, threatening a smear campaign in the primary. Is he going to be bringing up Hunter Biden next?

What truth? Smear campaigns aren't about "truth", they're about innuendo and association.

As someone who thinks highly of Sanders, I would like to know if there is any "there" there.

There are times I think our candidates are campaigning with a knife and fork.

You can see from DU, Bloomberg doesn't stand a chance of getting Sanders' base, so why not

We must be prepared for the possibility that the Trump DOJ has (Russian) dirt on Dem candidates
