(19,567 posts)My first impression when I read this was it was a strategic move by Hillary. She can say what those attacked by Bernie want to, without the other candidates getting down in the mud and coming up dirty. Also, when she speaks people listen.
When you run a negative campaign you assume the risks of negativity being used against you. In this case instead of Warren or Biden having to climb down to that level, Hillary stepped into the fray.
It's pretty smart, actually. She's not a politician or a surrogate to any candidate and her words can't be used against any of those previously attacked.
Added bonus point: Now many of the angry Bernie supporters are going to be focused on attacking Hillary online and not the other candidates for awhile. I'm confident she can handle any snake emojis they want to toss her way.
