In reply to the discussion: Electoral College Map...we need a centrist candidate to win the rustbelt to stop Trump. [View all]Sugarcoated
(7,724 posts)I'm from Montgomery County, PA, just outside of Philly. My husband, my brother, in-laws, neighbors, friends, husband's buddies from his NE Philly neighborhood, some of his blue collar co-workers (my guess, 50/50 Dem-Repub), of the Democrats in our network, most voted for Hillary reluctantly, voted 3rd party or shockingly, only voted down ticket. I was really taken aback and had underestimated the dislike some had for her. As we all have witnessed the destruction of America I've heard some say "If only Joe had run". Yes, music to my ears because I love him and that's the reality in states like Pennsylvania and the other rust-belt states. Biden is loved here in PA, and connects like a laser with the other midwest and rust-belt states folks. I personally don't think he's a true centrist, but that aside, his favorables are high. He's a very well liked politician.
I love Hillary, too, but Joe would've lit a fire under my ass and, IMO would've, and WILL take Crooked Don the bully behind the bleachers metaphorically, in the debates.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
