Democratic Primaries
Showing Original Post only (View all)I'm a little scared & thinking about switching my support to Biden [View all]
First off. I do like Biden. I always have. But I like several candidates more because they are more "progressive".
If I could wave a magic wand I would easily pick Warren to be the President. I think she would bring the biggest change in the direction I believe in. She would go after the banks, wall street, corp. American more than any other candidate (besides maybe Bernie).
But I am also worried that she could lose to Trump. I'm so scared of him being reelected. I do think Biden would beat Trump & actually beat him pretty easy.
My first thought was that since Trump's approval is so low, this would be the best time to elect a real, left leaning progressive candidate. This might be our shot. But now that Trumps poll numbers went up some and all his hate speech. I'm really worried of another 4 years of this man.
Its not like I would be unhappy with Biden. He is a good man. He would definitely get our moral compass back. He just does not excite me as much as some of the others. But he does seem like the safe pick.
My question for the DU is - Do I vote with my heart or with my head?
I don't get to vote for a long time being in PA but I have given money to Warren's & Harris campaign. Just wondering if I should just give my support to Biden.
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided
primary today, I would vote for: Undecided

OP
I think all of us know how Warren and Sanders will be vilified in the ads.

Warren is very intelligent and she can take whatever the Republicans throw at her

I like her. But she has tied herself not only to MFA but to billion, even trillion dollars

The primaries are when you choose who you think best represents the direction the party should go...

I thought it was clear enough but I added "policy-wise" to the end of the first sentence. n/t

So you think he connects with the white middle-class voter better than Warren or Harris does.

It's just a lot of assumptions about what a narrow slice will or won't vote for

You have several months to make up your mind. Your support isn't going to make/ break any candidate
