Democratic Primaries

(17,600 posts)that seems to be meant by most Bernie supporters I know.
I think WE are cheated ( a little ) by a primary system that's a bit, shall we say, sub-optimal. But the rules were known from the beginning and there was no major messing around with things, or any messing around that isn't part of how this stuff works and has always worked. I'm not sure why Bernie and his followers think he was so special that everything would be pristine and politicians would stop being politicians, because you know, Saint Bernie!
That said, the DNC did put their thumb on the scale, IMHO, but it is always that way. There is likely to be a thumb on the scale this time for Biden, at least a little if not a lot. Suck it up and get behind the nominee. Warren has at least committed to do that.
WE definitely were cheated in 2016 in the general. Those cheaters are the real enemy. Meanwhile, join local and state Dem committees and work on making your own pool a little more pristine. That's the only way the whole Dem "establishment" will get fixed - we all have to do what we can to fix our own corner of it.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
