(33,021 posts)Of him holding a fried chicken leg & hugging the chef, a black man. I am not going to bring it over here from twitter, the optics are f-n horrible; I thought at first it was a photoshop it was so inflammatory.
He uses his right hand finger wave way too much in public, it is rapidly becoming as a repulsive as the #ApricotHellbeast thumbs up.
His staff failed him, they should have made it clear, this is mainly a POC event, don't do stereotypical old out of touch white man stuff.
He also needs to acknowledge there is a giant issue with that unalert behavior & stop doing stuff like that; shaking hands with the chef, with his right hand would have been 1000% better. This coming so soon after the WOC gathering a few weeks back is NOT what needs to be showing to the Dem Party most loyal voters.
This was an unforced error. It does not help him gain traction.
