I suddenly remembered what this reminded me of!
Bernie, 2014:
"Now it is very unusual to find one person earning enough money to pay the bills. And the revolution ... the women's revolution, which was a good thing, many women want to be out in the workforce and that's great. But the reality is, it now takes two people incredibly long hours to earn enough income to pay the bills. Which raises other questions about child care and what happens to kids when they're not getting the attention they need."
That's a pretty big but. Please, spare me the 'splainin' about what Bernie really meant. Politicians talk for a living. Elizabeth Warren wrote a book about the two paycheck family, I'll listen to her.
