Underway is a virtual 'Love Fest' by Party Leaders and they seem to have called off their blood thirsty hound dogs now as they give full throated and well deserved praise and respect to Bernie and his supporters ..
That's fine. We all know what's that's about, many of us were not born yesterday, this isn't our first rodeo.
But here's the thing, Bernie deserves our back and much more than that, it is up to us to carry this movement forward beyond the convention, beyond the coronation, beyond the next primary.
It is up to us to continue to carry on this fight in all of the halls of public offices throughout the nation, starting in your own communities.
You know this, I know you know this. We just need to be reminded of it once in a while, and this is the moment to remember it.
We are our own leaders. It's great to have someone on the National scene who can speak to the very core of our struggle, it's such a rare occasion. I'm really grateful to have lived to see it in my lifetime.
But soon Bernie's voice will be forced out of the limelight, so we need to be right there ready to carry Bernie's FDR 2.0 baton onward, no matter what obstacles they throw our way.
