When will cannabis users demand equal rights? [View all]

Our Governments trample our rights every single day this plant is prohibited and the drug war against our citizens continues.

There is nothing more fundamental or more sacred than the individual's right to grow food and medicine. Yet we allow our Governments to terrorize it's citizenry. These laws are used to enslave, oppress, and even justify murder.

I do believe in a limitation on rights. I don't believe the poppy should be turned into heroin. I don't believe coca should be manufacured into cocaine. But the plants are from a higher source whether you believe in God or you just believe in nature all things have a purpose and the Governments' war against mother nature must end. Their war against their own citizens must end.

Allow people to grow a plant they are not causing you or anybody else any harm. Educate people give them the truth about the dangers and the effects or side effects. Allow people to have self determination and make their own choices.

Our countries speak of freedom but live by oppression. Armed men in ski mask raiding a home, flash grenades in the babies cribs. Gun fire and violence and death and destruction. Then robbery locked up and enslaved children taken away. And more often than not it's a racial minority possessing a plant, or a tax paying citizen living a peaceful life just trying to get by. Not the rich coke dealer selling blow to bankers or heroin to movie stars.

Its time for the cannabis user to be liberated from racial oppression, economic oppression, societal oppression, and Goverment oppression. You don't even have to legalize it. Just repeal the laws and let the plant and the people that use it peacefully be free!
