(33,688 posts)8. He reminds this Minnesotan of the late, great Paul Wellstone, another mensch.
Wellstone convinved a lot of people who disagreed with him on one issue or another to vote for him because he was absolutely straight with people about what he believed, stood for and fought for. No one ever had to wonder where he stood and that gained him a ton of respect across the board. More than a few votes, too.
