Yes, that would be 3 whole months. There are 8 months left in the year. Only a Firedoglake blogger could manage to throw such a disingenuous dagger as that one. Must be taking lessons from their new friends on the right."

"I would only offer that anybody who thinks the way to get ANYONE to do ANYTHING is to heckle ANYONE is a complete and utter fool."

"Will one heckler for one left wing cause be classified as more worthy than another heckler for another left wing cause, or are all of these people equally tedious?
The point that one should consider is that these hecklers usually demand some kind of instantaneous and somewhat unilateral resolution of their concerns, ostensibly to
the exclusion of whatever else is going on.
If every heckler is a welcome voice, each of them bringing worthy interruptions about their valid concerns, however off-topic at the time and however loudly and rudely stated, of any of this...What's the most important thing?
My, my... What's a President to do? Reserve added time for the heckler's diatribe? Or perhaps appoint a special presidential advisor for off-topic heckling resolution.
Oh course, that sounds fucking ridiculous.
Ones answers to these questions should be quite instructive, especially if those answers are solely based on ones own particular arena of concern.
Whadaya say? "

"Because heckling is meant to intimidate, not inform. To degrade, not discuss.
Nothing but shamed submission would have been the proper answer for a heckler. Although I have never heckled, as it's not effective in the long run. It's a cheap thrill many are addicted to and they want to see drama."

I could do this all day long. What does it say about people when they aggressively oppose tactics when used by one minority group only to aggressively support those very same tactics when used by a group they see as worthy? What does it say about DU that it can pretend this hypocrisy is not blatant, definitive and important to discuss?
I see people who launched multiple tirades against LGBT activists who are now saying anyone who does not support activists is a bigot. I tend to agree that those who shit on civil rights activists are bigots. But that means all civil rights activists, not just my own.
Those threads each have many, many comments about how terrible it is to interrupt political events posted by people who now say it is wonderful to interrupt political events, as long as you are not LGBT when you do it, apparently.
Riding a high horse is always risky, riding one in a place with easy to access records of your past mounts is just stupid.
