got little interest in the subject, on ANY forum, including this one, until suddenly Bernie Sanders the ONLY candidate who ever actually did something about Civil Rights, entered this race and began drawing enormous crowds, catching up to the Front Runner as people hear more about him.

Now suddenly people whose names I never saw in, eg, the Ferguson threads are suddenly 'concerned' about a decades old horrifying issue??

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10025872401#post11 so little interest as you can see.

You know what, to those of us who have worked to try to draw attention to what is, essentially the criminal assault on, mostly, AAs but also on the mentally ill and poor people, for years, to see now certain people USING IT cynically for their own purposes, is simply sickening and it is doing HARM to the issue.

Maybe that is the purpose, to silence the sincere people who out on the streets facing down the brutal robo cops, the politicians both Dem and Repub, who order out the NG to attack them.

Yes, that IS something to consider. That this is aimed at undermining the efforts that have finally succeeded in getting some attention for these egregious and ongoing crimes against AAs.
