Whoever is the more charismatic speaker of two candidates is going to appeal more to the voters that don't follow politics as closely and vote based on who they "like" best. This is why it matters so much. Speakers who relate and connect and can get people to stop and listen are the ONLY candidates who Democrats should nominate.
