The State Senate is now tied evenly between the Democrats and the Republicans at 18 senators each and in the House it is split 79-72 in favor of the Democrats. Link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Connecticut_General_Assembly

Given Gov Malloy's unpopularity in the state, there is a slim possibility of the Republicans picking up both the Governor's mansion and the State Legislature in 2018
