Those are some of the comments made by Trump supporters at rallies the Republican nominee for president has made over the past few months, as the New York Times shows in a compilation of various clips they've put together and published today.

As not only a gay man but a black gay man of color I have personally been called those things by Trump supporters. I've had a few even demand my physical address so they could come and "set me straight." It disturbed me that yesterday on Democratic Underground that I saw a few posters actually suggesting that we need to be going after these voters. I am sorry but let me give you a reality check to anyone who thinking along those lines.

1. These voters, not with us. Not going to happen.
2. These voters, highly racist, they hate anyone who isn't white. Not going to happen.
3. These voters, highly homophobic. They won't be with us. Not going to happen.
4. These voters, highly sexist. They hate women with a passion. Not going to happen.
5. If you don't bow down to them, they will insult and call you names. Not going to happen.

Its time for me to get real with you Democratic Underground. Hillary Clinton was right to call these folks out and we need to keep calling them out. We need to shame these folks and I really, really hope that you can get as many people to come out and vote blue in November. Its my plea that we beat these folks so bad that the Republican Party will either take a cold, serious look at themselves and try to change or fade into history. I can't be the only one hoping this.
