they've created and fed do not want news programs adulterated by facts. So, there's no way a real news show will ever be sufficiently profitable, and therefore wont be done.

The new American Dream is apparently making as much money for yourself and your cronies as possible. Sell a defective inferior product you had made with poisoned raw materials in a foreign country and pay the workers peanuts, build a giant ugly casino and don't pay the workers, raise drug prices to obscenely high levels. Doesn't matter. Just as long as you make a shitload of money.
