It will be able to build a new coalition and kick out the more racists members of Trump's coalition of White Supremacists, T-Partiers, and bigots.
It will be closer to the political center than the current Republican Party.

That, of course, assumes that Trump is defeated. If he wins, he will gerrymander the Supreme Court and the Constitution will mean whatever they want it to mean.

I will not dance on the grave of the Republican Party until they are buried so deep, they can not claw their way out of the ground.
