From you article main point "Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) said white people dont understand what its like to be poor and live in the ghetto, in response to a question about the candidates racial blind spots"
And Sanders was right. Let us look at what the word ghetto means:

ghet·to
ˈɡedō/
noun
1.
a part of a city, especially a slum area, occupied by a minority group or groups.
verb
1.
put in or restrict to an isolated or segregated area or group.
Now as living in a place the word must be a noun and we see that it means "a part of a city, especially a slum area, occupied by a minority group or groups." I know some racist people think that Whites are a minority and live under the thumbs of those ruthless black people. I see clips of Fox news claiming this all the time.
So going by my assumption that you think whites are a minority. because you posted a link to a article trying to claim Sanders was wrong in saying Whites don't know what being in a ghetto means, I assume you agree with Fox News and think Whites are a minority race in America. Pleas prove me wrong and admit Sanders was right that White Americans have no clue what living in a ghetto means, as it is impossible for a White person to be a minority.
