they can keep up the enthusiasm in 2018 and beyond. I also hope they can do some long-range planning and, rather than completely dislodge people like the Bay Area Congressional delegation can target disaffected voters in strong tea party areas. And I hope they realize that it will take at least a decade to build a viable, sustainable party - even the Republicans lost some big elections before they got Lincoln in office - and that the progressive college liberals of today will grow up to be the more conservative mainstream voters of tomorrow: unless they want to refight the revolution every few years they have to have a way not just to get people to vote in the federal elections now, but to keep voting for their candidates in subsequent elections.
