Unify the party... [View all]
that is what many people are calling for. Yet despite calls to unify, they are actively going out of their way to make Bernie Sanders supporters look like terrible people. They have called us sexist. They have called us racist. They have called us pie eyed. They have said we fell for a stupid policy platform that can never be implemented (Really? They also say in the same breath Hillary and Bernies platforms are very similar!). They are now calling us violent and saying we are like Trump supporters. They are blaming the actions of a few on the entire campaign and its supporters. They say we should just drop out and fall in line. They say we are not "real" democrats. Well guess what, half of Kentucky voted for Bernie Sanders and it was a closed primary. That means democrats were only able to vote and HALF of them choose Sanders. Those are "real" democrats. So are all the other democrats who have voted for him. You keep implying it is YOUR party and that only you have a say in how we conduct conventions and elect boards and committees in our states. Well guess what, I've been a life long democrat. I've voted democrat up and down the ticket since I turned 18. And now the party is pushing me out. Fine. You don't want me in the party? I will gladly leave after the convention.
