Not completely wrong, but wrong enough to allow our party to forge ahead with its current strategy, saying, "We all love these basic principles that unite us!" then acting as if those principles don't matter. Our party gets away with this because it brings in money, and money trumps values, money trumps integrity, money trumps damn near everything. This pursuit of dollars made us the minority party, and we're on the verge of being irrelevant, where the Republican Party was for so many years.
