(687 posts)We have a contest. And winning a primary or a caucus is good for one side and bad for the other -- but no one State is going to decide this primary election.
I have to note that I have seen a whole lot of crowing about polls on this site for the last six months, and I know I got laughed at repeatedly when I would try to ask such crowers to get real about polling months before the voting. My very favorite example is one happy soul who offered to bet their life on Hillary's ultimate victory.
Whew. I don't know if I'd invoke the Faust story for my side of anything -- but, hell, it is just politics.
I also concede that a lot of Bernie supporters can be that way, too. Assuming the polling from New Hampshire holds up, my side will get to have the fun of winning something -- and there will probably be some crowing. Not cool in my book.
Of all the ways for us to mix it up about our different candidates, I have to say crowing in either direction is pretty damned dumb.
