If you use EBT (food stamps) [View all]

Being elderly, disabled, alone, and with no car,
I have been using Walmart's grocery delivery and the Kroger (locally, Smith's) grocery delivery,
charging it to my credit card.

Today I saw I am able to use my EBT with Walmart grocery delivery online.
I've shopped Walmart "in store" a number of years and see their on line prices are comparable to their "in store" prices.

You do need to list a credit card where they can charge the delivery fee (if any) or any non food items.

Also, if you post your EBT info to Amazon, you can get Amazon PRIME at half price (about $6 a month) and use your EBT to buy groceries from the Amazon PANTRY. Look for 'EBT eligible', as the item must be sold and shipped by Amazon to qualify for EBT.
At this time you can not use EBT to buy food from Amazon's WHOLE FOODS Market or 'Amazon Fresh'.

There is no delivery fee with Amazon PRIME.

Although other grocers do delivery, Amazon and Walmart are the only two I am aware of which accept EBT.
