4. Years ago my father

was diagnosed with liver cancer. He was given three weeks to live. A few weeks later, it had been really bad. I was with him in the hospital. His heart stopped twice that night, both times they brought in the crash carts and brought him back with defibrillater. He started feeling better after that and got the chance to go back home for a while. We never told him about the crash carts or that he flat lined. He told me one day after he went home that back when he was at the hospital Jesus came to him and told him that he could go right now, and it would be easy and he would just slip away, or he could stay for just a little while longer but it would be hard. He said he thought of his wife and children and wanted to see them some more and decided to stay for a little while longer. He lived for three more months, and it was hard for him at the end. But there were good times during that three months and I think the choice was worth it for him.
