by the Jefferson City diocese as Fr. Patrick Dowling, born in Kilkenny, Ireland, and ordained in the doicese of Jefferson City (MO).
He was traveling Hwy 19 between Mass assignments the morning of Aug. 4. It has been reported in several places. (Unfortunately, I am not proficient at providing links, but I'm sure that someone will come along and help us out. - Thanks in advance.)
