I thought eh? Maybe it's time to get them off the MLK train - there were young, brash, angry people. Down in Louisiana two were jailed for 'criminal anarchy'.
There's so much more to civil rights street cred than marching with MLK.
My grandfather, grandmother and mom did as white people. But - my grandparents also made a point (grandpa was the leader on this) of hiring black and Hispanic men - female architects and engineers, etc. etc. Money talks bullshit just walks.
