Yep, you are exactly right. If they had clapped and cheered, the mouth-breathing psychopaths that make up the Republican base would have been shaking in their boots. Can't have the darkies loving Mitt!

And 20 years from now, when they have completely isolated every minority demographic, they'll wonder what is wrong with US that we don't love them. Because, as they are so fond of reminding everyone, Lincoln freed the slaves and Lincoln was a Repub. So we OWE it to them to see past the last 60 years of racism and race baiting and only focus on what they did for us (reluctantly) 200 years ago.
