Because no one who actually knows about firearms or intends to use them at anything other than a private range gives a damn about them (oh, and mass shooters). They affect pretty much no one and this will give the court cover for more important and effective decisions (such as Constitutional Carry, and overturning the 1934 and 1968 acts).

The only use for them is emptying a magazine as quickly as possible when you don't give a fuck about where the bullets go, and pretty much no firearms enthusiast (or 'Gun Humper', fetishist, or person trying to compensate for a small penis or lack of one entirely, as the gun-haters call us) gives the slightest damn.
