I caved and took the collar off of Madoc [View all]

While I was standing at the stove, making Goulash, he kept jumping up and bumping/rubbing against me and the cabinets. Then he sat right at my feet and started the saddest string of 'meows' I've ever heard. And he RARELY vocalizes. It was as if he was pleading with me. Add to that the sad, sad look on his face. He was really tugging on my heart strings.

The instant I removed it, it was as if I flipped a switch. He was back to his rambunctious self.

So, yes, Madoc won. But that's ok.
