No joke! They'll eat it and it'll 'gum' them up.
Moles did a number on our acre and a quarter property in CT back in the eighties.

We lean toward catch and release or have a heart traps, but moles are a whole 'nuther ball game. We just relocated a squirrel who was wreaking havoc in our not big fenced back yard. I'm not fond of killing living creatures, but sometimes ya have no choice.
