This comes as no surprise to many of us women who are of an age to have lived our lives experiencing the extent of misogyny in this country.

It's been that way for hundreds of years. Take a look at countries and when women won the right to vote. The US is way down the list. Look what happened to the Equal Rights Amendment. Take a look at the number of countries that have had a woman president or prime minister. The loss of one of the most qualified candidates in history--a woman-- to the most unqualified person to ever run for president in this country still hurts and we as a country are paying the price for the rampant misogyny every day.
