To begin with, they are all models. That sets them apart from reality.
I suppose I shouldn't find the fact most of them went so far toward the hyper-masculine, Adonis, pop-culture image of having the perfect male body surprising. Since they are models and not representative of the regular population. With little exception they all look like every stereotypical gay man, gym bunny I know. And I tried desperately to be.
I am not trying to be judgemental here. I know I spent a lot of time cultivating that look so I could feel good about myself and feel accepted in the harsh world of gay men.
I'm curious about the inner psyche of these guys. Making the changes they've made is courageous. I fully believe they are now in their proper bodies for them. I just hope they were not under the impression that once they got to the right place things would be any easier.
