A group of us found their little contingent and surrounded them, just to discourage anyone who would try to shout epithets their way. We also deflected a television crew back onto the parade.
And it worked! Like a baby throwing a tantrum, they were there for the attention! Once they realized they weren't going to get "persecuted for their beliefs" with media exposure, they packed up their bus and left.
