...didn't hold them by the hand? They spend an awful lot of energy complaining that the people they are revolting against aren't helping them in their cause.
They are allegedly Democrats -- they should at least TRY to learn how the system works. Mineral Man alone has used up countless pixels trying to TEACH them how it's done, but the response is never thanks, just assertions that the Revolution has come and that magically all their dreams will come true. MM has the patience of a saint, imo, and he keeps trying.
