begin to show Sanders +7 (or +3 or +4) overall, then it's time to take that seriously.

It looks like Sanders has a bastion of very strong support in a few Northeastern states, and weaker areas of support elsewhere. While that might get you the majority of the country population-wise if you select the people you poll pretty carefully, it's not a recipe for a Primary winner.

And from his actions, pulling out of the south and ceding it to Clinton, he knows that. Right now, the goal is to keep the message out through at least Super Tuesday and hope something changes. That doesn't seem likely.

At that point, support becomes more moot. Those percentages will begin to slide as he disappears from the national stage.
