(15,373 posts)38. Welcome to DU!
Bernie supporters on DU - at least those who post often - outnumber HRC supporters approximately 6:1 per Skinner. Unfortunately, there is a highly vocal group of them that prefer to trash HRC rather than to stress their candidate's strengths. They have so turned me off that I will vote to support MOM rather than SBS should - god forbid - anything happen to our best and strongest candidate. As for the GE, I will always support the Dem over any GOPer.
I also believe that MOM has every one of SBS's strengths with none of his baggage/liabilities. If HRC hadn't run, I would have been in MOM"s corner from the get-go. He was my Gov and a very good one.
The imbalance of Bernie to HRC supporters on DU is why I have taken to posting OPs and commenting much more often than I ever have. But because I believe that my candidate is being unfairly and deliberately trashed almost everywhere else, I post most OPs about HRC here rather than in GD-P, where the CDS swarm comes out in force.
If you are an HRC supporter, the HRC Group is - or supposed to be - a "safe" area. As you can see, some SBS supporters came over here to leave droppings anyway, although some may have done so without realizing that they were here. They are welcome if they can keep away from the HRC slurs. If not, NO. NOT AT ALL.
The only forum that I actually belong to is the AA Group. I am not a POC, but those persons who post there - of whatever ethnicity and whichever candidate they support - have some of the most interesting discussions on DU these days.

Bernie doesn't terrify the Republicans. He's their HOPE. If you don't know that, you

Alleged "enthusiasm" is NOT a substitute for know-how & I think this will be eventually be borne out
