U2 City Of Blinding Lights Live (Obama Inaugural Celebration)

It was directly after singing their first song, Pride (In The Name Of Love) ~ U2 and they spoke about and to Obama. There is more at the link at the end of this post.

In a post-concert interview, Bono said that the 'Ideal of America' belongs to the world. That we own the country, but not the 'Ideal of America.'

Martin Luther King, Jr. said:

'I say to you that our goal is freedom, and I believe we are going to get there because however much she strays away from it, the goal of America is freedom.'

America is an Ideal in the process of being fulfilled. I believe that and it lifts me up.
