I looked at some in Costco and they appear to have nice soft fabric like a normal blanket.

We have 2 or 3 electric blankets which no longer work and they are pretty heavy Sleeping under a couple of those would provide weight.

I decided I needed to know more after reading your post and found this in a quick Google search

They appear to replicate many of the benefits of deep tissue massage.
